A Memorable Golf Experience

Designed by legendary course architects Gary Player and Ron Kirby, the championship-caliber course at Berkeley Hills Country Club offers 18 unforgettable holes, stretching nearly 6,700 yards from the back tees. Thoughtfully crafted to balance challenge and playability, our course welcomes golfers of all skill levels, from seasoned competitors to those just discovering the game.

Each hole unfolds amid mature, tree-lined fairways and the rolling terrain of northern Georgia, providing a picturesque and tranquil golf experience. With its classic, traditional layout free from homes lining the fairways, Berkeley Hills offers a level of peaceful seclusion rarely found in today’s courses. A favorite among area golfers, our course proudly serves as a host site for prestigious championships conducted by the Georgia State Golf Association, Georgia PGA, and USGA.

Berkeley Hills has earned a reputation for delivering some of the purest, smoothest greens in the Atlanta area. PGA Tour professionals, including Stewart Cink, have chosen our course for practice ahead of major tournament play. Newly resurfaced in 2022, our TifEagle Bermuda greens provide a true test for even the finest short-game players, with a blend of subtle and pronounced breaks that make every putt a rewarding challenge.

Our comprehensive practice facility is designed to elevate every golfer’s game. Whether warming up before a round or dedicating time to skill development, players can take advantage of:

  • A full-length driving range with multiple target greens

  • A large putting green

  • A dedicated short-game area with bunker practice

At Berkeley Hills, we offer more than just a place to play. We provide an exceptional golfing experience that blends tradition, challenge, and excellence.

Course Review

Berkeley Hills Country Club offers one of Atlanta’s most enjoyable private courses, seamlessly blending challenge and playability. While modest in yardage, the course demands precision with narrow corridors and some of the most testing green complexes in the metro area. Small, sloping greens reward strategic approach shots, especially when rolling at tournament speeds.

The tree-lined fairways provide scoring opportunities for those who find them, with only two par 4s exceeding 406 yards and two par 5s easily reachable in two. The standout 505-yard third hole features water running along the left, making accuracy essential from tee to green. While water comes into play on several holes, the course’s main defenses are its narrow fairways, sloping greens, and deep bunkers protecting tucked pin positions.

Beautifully maintained and always engaging, Berkeley Hills delivers a rewarding challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
